Colony officer caught drug trafficking via Telegram in Ufa
In Ufa, a criminal case has been initiated against 24-year penal colony inspector; he is accused of drug trafficking through Telegram.
According to investigative bodies, late last year, the colony inspector reached an agreement with an unidentified person to 'promote' drug trafficking. They used to communicate via Telegram, allocating the responsibilities: one of them was engaged in drug supply, and the other was responsible for marketing.
According to the ICR Investigations Directorate for Republic of Bashkortostan, the colony officer was detained on February 15 this year, carrying about 1 gram of synthetic drug. A criminal case has been instigated against the man; his detention is currently being decided.
UK investigators believe they have identified the suspected perpetrators behind the Novichok nerve agent attack on the Skripals through CCTV and have cross-checked the footage with records of people who entered the country around that time.
