Co-owner of Gazprom Spetsgazavtotrans arrested for attempted murder
According to investigation, Vladimir Tumaev wanted to get rid of his wife's creditor.
The press service of the Basmanny Court of Moscow reported on Monday that the petition of the investigation on the arrest of Vladimir Tumaev, the co-owner of Gazprom Spetsgazavtotrans, Gazprom’s subsidiary, was granted. The latter is suspected of organizing a murder attempt on his wife's creditor.
It is reported that the investigation has been completed and in the near future Tumaev's defense will familiarize with the case materials.
According to the investigators, on March 15, 2017, the attack as a result of which the creditor of Tumaev's wife, Vadim Styazhkin, was shot twice, was organized by the suspect who hired a group of people to carry it out.
The investigating authorities of the Chita region are running a check on Dmitry Nepomnyashchy, a former deputy of the Chita Regional Duma, and his City Duma counterpart, Alexey Guskov, who are suspected of involvement in crimes that had been committed between 1995 and 2005.
College surveillance cameras captured the alleged perpetrator: a young blond-haired man wearing a white T-shirt. The 112 Telegram Channel reported that the attacker had been found dead on the second floor of the building.
