"Circumstances have changed in their favor": Kokorin's lawyer told about unexpected turn in arrested footballers' case
Tatyana Stukalova said she could not tell the details because of the non-disclosure agreement.
Tatyana Stukalova, the lawyer of the St. Petersburg FC Zenit attacker, Alexander Kokorin, stated that the investigation no longer has compelling reasons to extend the arrest of her charges. This lawyer said it on her personal page on Instagram.
Stukalova made it clear that as a result of the investigative actions, "circumstances have changed in their favor compared to the beginning of the investigation." The lawyer also added that she could not provide details due to a non-disclosure agreement.
Tatyana Stukalova announced that she intends to urge the court to “carefully read the full content” of the video of the conflict with the participation of the defendant and his colleague, midfielder of FC Krasnodar Pavel Mamaev. However, she does not exclude that the court may be on the defense side.
Recall the players Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev continue to be under arrest in the Butyrka jail. Athletes were placed in custody after two incidents in the center of the capital. The football players attacked two metropolitan officials in one of the city coffee shops, as well as the driver of the First Channel. On December 3, investigators will submit the petition to leave those arrested in custody until February 8.
