Chelyabinsk: case of drunken school posh running over traffic policeman with Mercedes hushed up

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Chelyabinsk region confirmed the fact of the incident, but stated that "the story is greatly exaggerated." At the same time, one of the leaders of the city traffic police regiment has already been removed from work.

Yesterday, information about how a drunk 15-year-old representative of “golden youth” in Chelyabinsk on a Mercedes-Benz E-class 200 hit two traffic police inspectors and crashed into a traffic sign, after which, together with a young man, she tried to hide from the place of accident, appeared in social networks. They tried to hush up the matter because of her influential parents, an anonymous Internet user, who reported the incident, said. The car, registered on the grandmother, was evacuated, and the management of the traffic police regiment ordered its subordinates to be silent about the incident. Inspectors with bruises on their faces and legs were sent home without hospitalization.

Today the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Chelyabinsk region confirmed the fact of an accident, noting that one of the leaders of the city traffic police regiment was removed from work for “attempting to shelter an emergency with personnel”.

In this case, information about the accident from the Ombudsman of the Police page on vk.com and from the press service of the Chelyabinsk police department is different. According to an anonymous post author, a schoolgirl who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol hit two traffic police officers who were trying to stop her. The MIA claims that only one inspector suffered.

In addition, the press service of the police department did not confirm the information about high-ranking parents of the accident culprit – it was reported earlier that the culprit of the accident was the daughter of a former official and a prominent businessman.

“The story is greatly exaggerated,” the ministry’s press service noted. Also there they added that the incident occurred on November 17, and not on 24. Experts confirmed the presence in the blood of 15-year-old driver of alcohol and drugs. Materials on road accidents are issued in a timely manner in the manner prescribed by law and transferred to the unit for juvenile affairs, the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
