Chechens and Dagestanis stage mass brawl on state border
Tensions between residents of the two republics intensified after the words of the Chechen leader about Imam Shamil.
Residents of Dagestan and Chechnya staged a fight on the border of the two republics. WhatsApp users share this information, the Caucasian Knot reports.
The publications indicate that the incident occurred on August 16. On this day, the Dagestanis beat up immigrants from Chechnya. It is noted that one guy was thrown off the bridge - later, he allegedly died in the hospital.
“Yesterday, they say there was a fight between Dagestanis and Chechens. Our guys were beaten, one was thrown from the bridge. He was put in intensive care yesterday; he died this morning. Now there is a commemoration in Khosi-Yurt,” Caucasian Knot correspondent quotes the author of the audio recording.
Tensions between residents of the two republics intensified after the words of the Chechen leader about Imam Shamil. In an interview with Chechnya Today, Kadyrov said that Shamil proclaimed himself the imam of Chechnya and Dagestan on March 8, 1840. According to the Head of the republic, since then each of the Chechen villages has been burned several times.
Mixed martial arts fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, Makhachkala mayor Salman Dadaev, chairman of the Dagestan National Assembly Khizri Shikhsaids expressed disagreement with Kadyrov’s point of view.
Residents of Chechnya, who visited Dagestan after Kadyrov’s statement, also noted the increased hostility of residents of the neighboring republic.
Imam Shamil is an Avar from modern Dagestan. In the XIX century, he fought against the Russian troops of General Alexey Ermolov.
Not so much time has passed since the death of Igor ‘Adolf’ Minakov, and, as many predicted, the silent transition to possible successors of the funeral empire, which he built on the shoulders of his mobs, failed. The newly-emerging representatives of ritual services not only steal the bread from the mouths of former ‘royal subjects,’ but also control the city elections with their fists.
