Chechen woman with 2 kids goes missing in Moscow after refusing to get married
The woman lived with her parents and raised two daughters.
Seda, 24, from Chechnya, who lived in a house in Novaya Moskva (New Moscow) with her parents and two daughters, has disappeared after she refused to marry her countryman. Mash reports the news.
According to the telegram channel, the woman brings up children of five and three years. Two days ago, three men came to their house and asked her parents if they would give her away for marriage but they refused. After that, the family began to get persistent calls demanding to agree to the marriage. On July 16, the woman’s father Ruslan, 57, arrived home only to find that Seda and her daughters were not there.
The police launched an investigation. According to one of the theories, the woman could have run away with her fiancé. Earlier, the media featured a story of a 20-year-old native of Chechnya, who said that her family had forced her out of Moscow to get married in the homeland. The woman denied the information eventually, but human rights activists believe that she did it under the pressure of her relatives.
