Chechen man starts shooting at wedding, Austria
The police seized a gas pistol from the Chechen man.
A 22-year-old man from the Republic of Chechnya started a shooting while driving in a wedding motorcade along an Austrian highway. The incident occurred in Vienna, on the road towards Korneuburg, Lower Austria.
Eyewitnesses said that the man, who turned out to be the groom, opened the window of his Audi and started shooting randomly with a gas pistol. The police were called right away and the motorcade was detained.
The groom said he was simply enjoying himself at his own party. The police stopped and searched all the guests of the bold wedding, seized the gun and imposed a temporary ban on carrying weapons against the groom. The wedding continued after some of the guests had to produce their documents.

The Legal Initiative researcher Saida Sirazhudinova at the All-Russian Civil Forum asked the representative of the mufti of Chechnya about the "honor killings" in Caucasus. And soon after that, she found herself under surveillance.
