Chechen citizen who came on wrestling championship with gun is brought to administrative liability
The Prosecutor General’s office did not support initiation of a criminal case against the man, however, he is brought to administrative liability for coming at the sport event with a weapon.
The man, who was waving a gun on Russian free-style wrestling championship among juniors in around Belgorod, is brought to administrative liability, said representative of the General Administration for protection of public order of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Sergey Borisov. It should be recalled, that in May the video with a free-for-all, which happened after one of the Chechen sportsmen lost, occurred in the Internet. The wrestler was so upset about his loss that he decided to attack his opponent. The sportsmen’s cheerleaders’ team got into a fight provoking a free-for-all. One of the men pulled out a gun.
«It is an air gift gun, not a service pistol Stechkin as some media wrote. The Prosecution General’s Office did not supportinitiation of a criminal case against the man, but, he is brought to administrative liability for coming at the sport event with a weapon,» - told Borisov.
According to RIA Novosti, the gun was withdrawn before the court’s decision, which by that time had not started the proceeding on the case. Security firm, which ensured safety on the event incurred liability.
Moreover, a complaint on the Arcada Club in Stary Oskol, where the championship was held in 13-15 May, was written and sent to Prosecutor General’s Office.
The club’s director Dmitry Zhelkovsky explained, that the man, who tried to use a weapon, was a bodyguard of one of the Chechen sportsmen.
The MIA conducted a personnel inspection, as a result of which two leading employees received a reprimand.
The sportsman, who provoked a fight, could be disqualified for life. According to president of the Russian Federation of Amateur Wrestling (RFAW) Mikhail Mamiashvily, an internal investigation would be held, after which all the guilty would be punished, including the championship’s organizers.

According to Margarita Vennberg, Ivan Rubin borrowed 40 thousand euros from businessman Vladimir Tyurenkov about a year ago. When Rubin delayed payments, Tyurenkov raised interest, and the amount of the debt increased to 70 thousand euros.
