“Characterized by increased sensibility.” Psychologist explains Kokorin’s aggression with trauma and the fact that he missed World Cup-18
The sports doctor believes that the FC Zenit forward had a tough time due to his failings.
Hearings of the case against footballers Aleksander Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev are ongoing in Moscow. They are accused of hooliganism following 2 fights in the center of Moscow. On Tuesday, the defense team started providing first documents in favor of the accused.
With that, lawyer of the FC Zenit forward submitted a conclusion of his client’s psychologist who explains Kokorin’s aggression.
In particular, the conclusion says that Kokorin’s bahavior at Coffeemania was caused by a number of factors including a heavy trauma due to which he had missed the World Cup-18.
“The football player is characterized by increased sensibility. Poor sustainability to psychoemotional burden. His nervous system has to be recovered. Ability to self-control is decreased. Against the background of a longstanding mental tension, his sensibility is increased. I believe that he had been in this state for a few months,” Life quotes the psychologist as saying.
The lawyer added that the psychologist concluded that the afore-mentioned factors had caused the state of the footballer. As a result, it was much harder for him to control his emotions.
“Besides that, unrest before the game, exhaustion after the out match, a wink of sleep, violation of sports regime. Here’s the conclusion: the afore-mentioned factors had caused aggression,” the document states.
Moreover, in the lawyer’s words, it can be assumed that his client was in a state of temporary insanity. The day when the incident at Coffeemania took place was his first day off in months.
The fight took place on October 8, 2018. Director of Minpromtorg Denis Pak was hit by Aleksander Kokorin with a chair in his head. Head of a federal state unitary enterprise NAMI Segey Gaysin was hit by Pavel Mamaev and Aleksander Protasovitsky. The video of the scuffle has recently been posted on the web.
