An employee of the Center for Combating Extremism speeded his Priora so fast that he did not manage to stop it in time.
In the city of Chegem in Kabardino-Balkaria, an employee of the Center for Combating Extremism knocked down and killed an 82-year-old pensioner at a crosswalk. On the Baksan Highway, a police officer violated the allowed speed limit on his service Priora and, noticing a pedestrian, did not have time to stop it. The circumstances of the accident were recorded by a video surveillance camera.
The accident occurred at 16:05, October 17, according to the ICR for the republic. The pensioner died in the hospital. Law enforcement agencies conduct pre-investigation checks. It is established that the driver was sober.
Oleg Zaytsev had wide connections within the criminal world and law enforcement agencies. This is being related to an organized crime group headed by Ruslan Kilievich that had allegedly been patronized by a former Federal Security Service Directorate officer Oleg Natalchenko. The crime group had also been a core driver for almost disbanding the criminal investigation department of the police.
