Case initiated against policeman involved in road accident in Moscow region
Earlier, the policeman, who hit a woman to death while driving drunk, has been dismissed.
A criminal case against the traffic police officer who hit a woman in village Latoshino, the Moscow region, has been initiated, as reported by the ICR regional department. The case was initiated under part. 4 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code (Violation of Traffic Rules and Rules for Operation of Transport Vehicles by a person who is in a state of drunkenness, which action has, by negligence, entailed a human death).
Investigation is underway, the causes, circumstances of the incident, as well as the question on the arrest of the suspect are being considered.
Earlier, the press service of the Moscow region MIA reported that traffic police inspector Mikhail S., who hit a woman to death in Moscow, dismissed. Also according to Life, the Deputy Chief of the tate Traffic Inspectorate in Lotoshinsky district was dismissed as well. The check in his regard was initiated.
Recall, December 31, 2016 around 16 p.m., a drunken traffic police inspector, being out of duty, hit a 69-year-old woman while driving a car. It was noted that the pensioner was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing. She died on the spot from the injuries.
As a result of the medical examination, blood of policeman Mikhail S. contained 0.76 ppm of alcohol. Experts claim alcohol intoxication was the cause of the accident, which resulted in death of the pensioner.

Kolyma Governor Sergei Nosov suggested Dubrovsky to drive the people into bright future with iron hands. In fact, the future is bright mostly for Nosov and Dubrovsky – not for the resettled villagers.
