Case against TV presenter’s daughter Marianna Maksimovskaya suspended
This decision was made in connection with the preparation of the 27-year-old girl for childbirth.
The criminal case against TV presenter Marianna Maksimovskaya’s daughter Alexandra, who was detained with drugs in March, has been suspended. This is reported by Telegram channel Baza. The case was suspended due to the preparation of the 27-year-old girl for childbirth.
Alexandra Maksimovskaya was detained in March 2019 in the north of Moscow. 4.5 grams of narcotic substances were found on her. A criminal case under Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal Acquisition, Storage, Transportation, Manufacture, Processing of Narcotic Drugs) was initiated against the girl.
According to the channel, Maksimovskaya tried to distribute drugs among the visitors of a fitness club, where she worked out herself. The Head of the Security Service of the club Islam Mirzayev drew attention to this. He turned to his friend Ruslan Ramazanov, who in turn reported the girl to the police.
Mirzayev and the police conducted a test purchase, after which Maksimovskaya was rounded up. Due to the fact that the girl was in the seventh month of pregnancy, she was released on a written undertaking not to leave the place. The case was suspended, since Maksimovskaya is supposed to give birth in May.
The mother of the detainee, Marianna Maksimovskaya, was the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of REN TV channel and the anchor of a weekly final news program. Since June 2018, she has led Mikhaylov&Co Group of Companies engages in business communications.
