Brother of arrested ex-Serpukhov District Head Shestun becomes defendant in criminal case
Igor Shestun has beaten a lawyer at the CSKA stadium.
The brother of arrested Moscow region’s Serpukhov district ex-head Aleksandr Shestun has become a defendant in a criminal case, Mash reports via Telegram. He has been detained.
In September, Igor Shestun, who holds the position of director of the Serpukhov Dramatic Theater, beat up lawyer Igor Vladimirovich at the CSKA stadium. The latter fell and hit the iron parapet. The criminal case had not been initiated for a long time, however, on Monday, January 15, Shestun was detained. He pleaded guilty.
Previously, it became known that Igor Shestun’s brother, ex-Serpukhov District Head Aleksandr Shestun, owned 565 land plots and 22 cars worth 10 billion rubles ($150 million), which did not correspond to the official’s income.
Artur Tsybikov, who refers to himself as Deputy Supreme Shaman of Russia, is trying to justify the Zhen Tengery Yaba ritual, which caused public outrage. He noted that the head of Chechnya does the same every year, burning five camels.
After the Colonel Zakharchenko scandal, Andrey Kurnosenko and some of his colleagues were told that they were not fit for the job. However, the head of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department retained his post.
