Blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky detained near Kremlin with poster Putin is a Yobbo
The blogger says he is against the law on contempt for power.
In Moscow, blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky, who was standing in a single picket against the law on contempt for power with a poster Putin is a Yobbo, was detained on Red Square. He reported about it on Instagram.
According to OVD-Info, a few hours after the arrest, Sokolovsky was released from the police. It was not specified whether a protocol was drawn up for violation of the Code on Administrative Offenses.
Ruslan Sokolovsky is known as the blogger who was sentenced to three and a half years on probation for a video on which he walked around the temple and caught Pokemon. Later the term was reduced to two years and three months. The young man was found guilty of insulting the feelings of believers and inciting hatred or enmity. In May 2019, the court in St. Petersburg mitigated his punishment.
