Facilities for study are provided to children from families whose income is less than $125 thousand a year. As estimated by a blogger imerkouri, in 2018, Navalny earned $135.7 thousand as compensation, according to decision by the European Court of Human Rights.

Blogger imerkouri stated that a daughter of a member of the opposition Aleksey Navalny had illegally entered Stanford University. He turned attention to the fact that Navalny’s had no right to benefits in the USA.

On April 18, Daria Navalnaya stated on her YouTube channel that she had entered Stanford University and told about the University’s benefits. In her words, if an annual income of a student’s family is less than $125 thousand, the University pays for education.

The author of YouTube channel imerkouri Ilias Merkuri said that in 2018, according to decision by the European Court of Human Rights, Navalny was to receive from Russia $135.7 thousand as compensation which is more than the University’s limit. Besides that, according to the regulations of the University, foreign students can not claim for free education.

According to a statement by the administration of Stanford University, cost of living during education (not taking into account education itself) is $144 thousand. In the blogger’s opinion, Navalny has this money thanks to his paid-for investigations. Besides that, Merkuri reminded that the US former ambassador in Russia Michael McFaul is a professor at Stanford University. The media had stated he had ties to the oppositionist.

“I have no idea how they decided that. It might be a vicarious bribery,” the blogger stated.
