Belgorod colony to give Kokorin and Mamaev good conduct certificate for trial on parole

Football players follow the schedule and go to church.

Head of the colony No. 4, Sergey Plyasov, said that the penitentiary would provide a positive response to prisoners Alexander and Kirill Kokorins, as well as Pavel Mamayev.

“There are no complaints either against the Kokorins or against Mamayev. The daily routine is observed, there are no complaints. They go to work, to the library, to the church, to exercise, to the dining room. Take part in all sporting events. All three go, there are no questions for them. In court on parole from us, they will receive a positive profile,” Sport Express quotes Plyasov.

The Kokorin brothers and Mamayev petitioned for parole in early August.

Law enforcement authorities detained the Kokorins, Mamayev and Alexander Protasovitsky in October 2018 after they staged two fights in Moscow. Subsequently, the court sentenced Mamayev to a year and five months in prison, and the rest to one and a half years imprisonment.

The court counted every day spent by the players in the pre-trial detention center for one and a half days in the colony. Accordingly, the Kokorin brothers will stay in the colony for 7.5 months, and Protasovitsky and Mamayev for 6.5 months.

On Saturday, the football team of correctional colony No. 4, for which Kokorin and Mamayev played, defeated the Belgorod Salyut, playing in the PFL.
