Attempted arson of Volgograd region Governor's house associated with his activity
Local media citing a source in law enforcement bodies reported that the attempted assassination is connected with his professional activities.
The house of the Volgograd region Governor Andrey Bocharov was tried to set afire by unknown. Local residents of the Latoshinka urban village, where the Governor resides, told that police officers visited houses with interrogation of witnesses.
According to the Volgograd press, law enforcement officers are searching for the unknown climbing over the fence and throwing a burning object into the territory of the house. Presumably, the burning object was a bottle with a combustible mixture.
The MIA in the Volgograd region did not comment on the information to Interfax. The regional ID ICR astained from commenting and the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that there were no calls from Latoshinki about the state of emergency.
It should be noted that the edition Bloknot Volgograda citing a source close to the investigation, wrote about the attempted arson as the attempt the life of the Head of the region Andrey Bocharov. According to investigators, the attempt was connected with professional activity of the Governor.
