Astrakhan footballer detained on suspicion of killing taxi driver
According to investigators, the 23-year-old athlete killed a driver and stole his car.
In Dagestan, a 23-year-old player of the Astrakhan football club Zvezda was detained on suspicion of killing a 78-year-old taxi driver, the press service of the ICR reports.
According to the investigation, the suspect took the taxi to go from Astrakhan to the village of Komsomolsky, Kalmykia, where he was going to take a bus to Khasavyurt. Along the way, the young man stabbed the driver several times, threw his body out of the car in a deserted place and drove to Dagestan in the car of the murdered man.
The stolen car was found in Khasavyurt. The football player will be arrested soon.
