Arrested Irkutsk region ex-Deputy Minister complained to Putin about threats of FSB officers

The security forces allegedly demanded to stipulate several people and promised to rape if refused.

The former Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Irkutsk region, Alexey Tugi, accused of illegal approval to clear sanitary felling in the Tukolon nature reserve, demanded that criminal cases be opened against the investigator of the second department for investigating the Internal Affairs Directorate of the ICR in the region, Igor Zavialov, and Alexey Firstov. According to the ex-official, security officials threatened with rape and torture during the interrogation in the FSB building; the officers also asked to bespeak Minister of the Forest Complex Sergey Sheverdy, his deputy Valentin Shirokov, and the head of the forest protection and protection department. Also, the security services allegedly forced to withdraw from paid lawyers and sign an interrogation report with the participation of a guest attorney.
