The assault took place during opening of an exhibition in the center of the modern art in the capital of Turkey. The newspaper reports that Karlov was attacked during his speech from a tribune in the gallery.
According to CNN Turk, Karlov is hospitalized in critical condition.
Police officers took Kristina Morozova to a police station to check her identity, where she ended up getting a closed craniocerebral injury, minor cerebral contusion, fissure fracture of her cheekbone, fracture of her left sphenoid bone, and large leg bruise.

Trutnev was turned in by his former accomplices – FSB officers trying to extort 3 million rubles ($52.3 thousand) from the Director of Snegirev Research Technological Institute in exchange for covering up violations identified at the enterprise.
