Anapa police detain violent man for smashing woman’s head with rifle in gun club
Suren Geloyan has been brought in for interrogation.
Suren Geloyan, 39, of Anapa’s Krymsky district, was detained after a fight in a local shooting range. The man attacked an employee, according to police; first he spat in her face, then insulted her and broke her head with a rifle.
Geloyan was taken to the police station and is now confessing.
It was previously reported that the incident had occurred on August 11. Around 23:00, a group of tipsy men came to the shooting range to have fun but a female employee said that shooting while intoxicated was prohibited.
According to the woman, Geloyan was more aggressive than the others and told her to turn on the equipment, and then attacked the employee.
The employee was diagnosed with a forehead laceration and bruises of the left hand. According to her, all the other men were just standing by at the time of the attack.
When the violent visitors left, the woman called the district police officer and walked to the emergency room. The wound was sewn and the bruises were documented. The footage from the surveillance camera was seized and it was what eventually helped in finding the violent visitor.
