Aman Tuleev compares himself with Christ, doesn’t admit guilt in Kemerovo tragedy
According to the former Kuzbass governor, he was first honored by people, and then “crucified.”
Speaker of the Kemerovo parliament and former Region Governor Aman Tuleev reiterated that he did not consider himself guilty of the Zimnyaya Vishnya mall tragedy, which killed 60 people.
Moreover, the official said that he believed himself to be Jesus Christ in this situation, where he was first honored by people, and then “crucified.”
“I am not guilty — I fear God, I fear him very much, and I swear before an icon that I’m not guilty. My only fault is that it happened in the region, where I was the governor. That’s my only fault,” he said in an interview with TVM.
As previously reported by the ICR, Kemerovo supervisory bodies were prohibiting the inspection of fire safety in the Zimnyaya Vishnya mall for several years. During interrogation, Kemerovo prosecutor said that they had received such instructions from their superiors.
