All persons under investigation of the Gelandewagen case released from detention center
All persons under investigation in the case of traffic police chasing Mercedes Gelandewagen with young men, among whom there was the son of a top manager of "LUKOIL" Ruslan Shamsuarov, were released from the detention center at the expiration of their administrative punishment.
Three young men were arrested for a period of fifteen days, the girl, who also was in the car, got only ten days.
The day before, the most famous person of interest, the son of the vice-president of oil and gas company, went out of detention center. At the exit, Shamsuarov was picked up by a car with a driver and two bodyguards.
It is to be recalled that on May 22th Shamsuarov’s luxury SUV flagrantly violating the traffic rules was trying to hide from the policemen pursuing it for six hours. After that, the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case on the incident against all its members under two articles: the threat of violence against a representative of authorities and insulting a public official.
The story with the arrest of Igor Vainshtok, creator of famous bifidok, in absentia and his escape is pretty confusing. The company founded by him still remains the largest probiotics producer in Russia and generates multimillion profits – however, somehow it was declared bankrupt. An international warrant has been issued against Vainshtok for non-payment of salaries – while the businessman calls his prosecution an element of the raiding takeover of his company that was already recognized a raidership victim in the past. Concurrently, employees of Partner Joint Stock Company created by Vainshtok claim that he has stolen not only millions of rubles from the base bank of Roscosmos – but, more importantly, the bifidok inventorship. So, whom has Vainshtok fled from?
According to the head of the state-owned company, the Russian business “rebuilt the country,” “restored the collapsed Soviet enterprises,” “returned the salary to the people,” “filled the budget with money.”
