Acting head of Ministry of Construction of Dagestan placed on wanted list
It is not specified what the official is accused of.
Ibrahim Kazibekov, interim minister of construction of Dagestan, was put on the wanted list. This is reported by TASS with reference to the interim head of the republic, Vladimir Vasilyev.
The head of the region did not specify what exactly Kazibekov was suspected of but noted that many problems arose in the construction industry of Dagestan. “The number of employees at construction sites is concealed... We see that the percentage of shadow (sector) is significantly overvalued,” Vasilyev said.
It is to be recalled that in January-February in Dagestan a so-called mopping up was carried out. Several high-ranking officials of the region were detained for bribe-taking, including former prime minister of the republic's government Abdusamad Gamidov, his two deputies – Shamil Isayev and Rajudin Yusufov, as well as Shakhabas Shakhov, the former education minister of Dagestan. They are charged with swindling in the amount of more than 95 million rubles (~1.665.000 USD).
Ismail Efendiev is suspected of exceeding authority in connection with the investigation of cases of detained earlier former First Deputy Prime Minister Ramazan Aliyev and nephew of the former head of Dagestan Askhabali Abdulatipov. Searches are being conducted at Efendiev's office and house.
The disappearance of an elderly Muscovite, who owns three rooms on Ostozhenka Street, and her disabled son, worried the neighbors, but the police refused to initiate criminal proceedings on their application. Housing in the elite area of the capital in the meantime was re-registered to a resident of St. Petersburg, who introduced herself as their relative.
