6 people detained after shooting with participation of Dagestani deputies
One of the detainees is a city parliamentarian.
In the evening of November 23, a major shootout took place, in the Republic of Dagestan, in which from 10 to 15 people participated. Among them there were children of high-ranking officials and deputies of the local district assembly.
The incident occurred on a crushed stone plant near the village of Azadoglu of Magaramkent district of Dagestan. On the spot, two groups of people from Derbent and Magaramkent districts met to resolve the contradictions that have arisen between them. A group from Derbent drove up on three foreign cars. Soon a conflict broke out, which turned into a gunfight.
"The conflict has a criminal motive. They did not share something. In the group from Derbent there were relatives of former head of the city of Derbent Imam Yaraliev, including the deputy of the city assembly, and in another group - the relatives of the head of the Magaramkent region," the source of the Lenta newspaper said.
At the moment, it is known that six people were injured, four are in serious condition. One of the injured is the nephew of the district head. Two more died. Deceased are deputy of the regional assembly Eldar Yaraliev and local resident Salman Agarzhaev.
On the fact of shooting six people were detained. Among them - a resident of Dagestan, deputy of the district of Derbent Rafik Yaraliev. Now the official is being interrogated.
According to the latest information, one of the participants in the shooting, Telman Serkerov, was prosecuted in 2012. In 2014 the Derbent Town Court found him guilty of committing a crime under part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced him to 2 years of correctional labor.
