10 people detained at rally against Yadrovo landfill
It is known that eight of them were taken to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Volokolamsky district.
The police held detentions at a rally in Volokolamsk. As reported by Interfax referring to the representative of the initiative group, law enforcement officers detained about ten people. The interlocutor of the agency did not specify where the detainees were taken.
At the same time, OVD-Info, having communicated with one of the detainees, informs that eight persons were taken to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Volokolamsky district. After an explanatory conversation and taking explanations all of them were released.
Recall that on Sunday morning, April 15, about fifty people blocked the entrance to the territory of the Yadrovo landfill. Policemen who tried to push the locals off the road arrived. Residents tried to prevent the opening of a new stage of the landfill, which took place that day.
Earlier, in Volokolamsk, there had been several rallies against the landfill, to which several thousand people participated. In addition, Balashikha, Dmitrov, Klin, Kolomna, Krasnoarmeysk, Sergiev Posad, Serpukhov and Shatura protested against landfills.
Ismail Efendiev is suspected of exceeding authority in connection with the investigation of cases of detained earlier former First Deputy Prime Minister Ramazan Aliyev and nephew of the former head of Dagestan Askhabali Abdulatipov. Searches are being conducted at Efendiev's office and house.
