Zyuganov turns out to be richest leader State Duma factions
The second place in terms of income for 2018 was taken by Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov indicated an income of 7.9 million rubles ($ 122,000) in a declaration for 2018, which put him ahead of other leaders of the factions in the State Duma. The second place was taken by Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the head of the LDPR, who earned 6.8 million rubles ($ 105,000). The Chairman of the United Russia faction, Sergey Neverov, reported about 4.9 million rubles ($ 76,000), and the head of Fair Russia, Sergey Mironov, indicated 4.9 million rubles as well.
In the declarations for 2017, Zyuganov indicated 6.3 million rubles ($ 98,000), Zhirinovsky – 5.4 million rubles ($ 84,000), Neverov – 4.7 million rubles ($ 73,000), Mironov – 4.5 million rubles ($ 70,000).
Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin declared income of 71.74 million rubles ($ 1,12 million). The wealthiest deputy of the State Duma is the head of the ABI Group, United Russia’s Grigory Anikeev with 2.3 billion rubles ($ 35,6 million).
The cadets have been found guilty of an Attempt at Murder by a Group of Persons by Previous Concert and for Mercenary Reasons (part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Russian Criminal Code). They do not plead guilty.
