Voronezh public servants caught lying about income and property
In Voronezh region, several public servants of the Pavlovsk District Administration submitted fake information in the earnings certificate.
Multiple servants of the Pavlovsk District Administration, Voronezh region, have been punished for providing false information in their income and expenses certificate, as well as of the existing assets and liabilities of property nature.
According to the Voronezh Chief Assistant Prosecutor Mikhail Usov, violations were found during the inspection of earnings certificates provided by the heads of municipal institutions.
For example, in his earnings statement, the Deputy Chief of administration, incumbent chief of the Department of social and economic development, municipal control and support of district administration entrepreneurship forgot to indicate he had a valid bank card in his use. A leading specialist of the Department of custody and guardianship of the district Administration also failed to specify similar information about the availability of a credit card.
Another official concealed information about the possession of a joint shared property land plot. In the local administration he holds the office of the leading specialist of social protection, custody, guardianship and protection of the child rights.
The Head of Gornyak Center for development of physical culture and sports of the Pavlovsk district municipal public institution failed to mention he was one of the founders of Reklamnaya Kompaniya VOA-GRUPP LLC.
In addition to this, the local administration has not posted information on income, property and property obligations of the heads of subordinate agencies and members of their families on its official website. Failure to comply with this requirement violates the law.
In connection with the violations found during inspections, the District Prosecutor's Office has made a representation of the Head of the Pavlovsk District and demanded to eliminate the existing violations of the applicable Russian legislation aimed at combating corruption, as well as punish the guilty.
In addition, some of the offending officials, namely the Deputy Head of the administration, the heads of local government agencies and district administration departments, and other officials incurred disciplinary liability.
Billionaire Viktor Vekselberg has repaid loans in the amount of $1 billion taken from the Western banks. Earlier, his Renova Group had received state support from Promsvyazbank. Renova representatives say they have repaid the loan with the company’s own funds.
