“United Russia crashed them all” Turchak says proudly

Andrey Turchak, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council and Secretary of United Russia’s General Council, commented on the outcome of the voting day, September 8, RBC reported.
According to the United Russia official, the predictions of the “hapless sociologists” have failed miserably and United Russia “crashed them all”, winning in all regions except Khabarovsk.
“United Russia has crashed them all in this election,” Turchak said. “All predictions of the hapless sociologists and political scientists [that said the party in power was going to lose] have failed miserably,” said the Secretary of the General Council of the party.
Sunday, September 8, was the voting day in Russia with elections of different levels held in 85 regions of the country. Direct elections of governors were held in 16 subjects, elections to city councils in 22 regional centers, and heads of municipal formations in three. On September 8, Moscow elected new City Duma deputies.
