US and Europe turn their back on Kiev, Ukrainian general says

In November 2018, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft of amendments to the constitution on the proposal of the President of the country, Petro Poroshenko. The document establishes the country's course towards joining the European Union and NATO.

Ukraine has lost the support of the United States and the European Union since the policy of official Kiev is unacceptable for Western partners, former Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Alexander Kuzmuk.

“We are becoming an irritant for Europe and the US. We create difficulties for them, we feel it,” the 112 channel quotes Kuzmuk. According to the ex-Minister, the Western allies are tired of helping Kiev with solving problems and now offer the Ukrainian authorities to solve their problems on their own. “The worst thing is that we remain without political support,” the Ukrainian general added.
