Tuleyev on his retirement from politics: “I'm tired of this dirt, of this lie...”
The ex-governor of the Kemerovo Region said that he did not see the point of “staying.”
Former head of the Kuzbass Aman Tuleyev, who left the post of governor after the tragedy in the mall Zimnyaya Vishnya and headed the local parliament, said that he was leaving politics. In particular, the official does not intend to participate in regional elections or go to the Federation Council.
“I'm tired of this politics, of this dirt, of this lie ... Honestly, I do not want it and it makes no sense to stay in politics,” said Tuleyev, who will turn 74 in May.
He also thanked the deputies for the opportunity given to him:
“The deputies are special people. You need to have patience: these endless laws, clause “A,” clause ”Z” ... Well done though, because one cannot live without laws. But your heart must be in it. And I'm an industrialist, what can I do? All the time, I worked either on the railway or as a governor,” said Tuleyev.
It is to be recalled that the ex-head of the region announced about his retirement on April 1, a week after the fire in the shopping center Zimnyaya Vishnya in Kemerovo, as a result of which, according to the latest clarified data, 60 people were killed.
The investigation and court established that Arhur Dzhioyev (Synok), extradited from Greece, not only conveyed orders for killings to killers, but also participated in them himself. Only a part of the incriminated episodes was included in the case considered.
