Transporting Federal Security Guard Service employees accompanying Putin to exceed $ 15 million

Until the end of 2019, it is planned to spend more than 1.1 billion rubles ($ 16,7 million) for transportation of FSO officers accompanying Russian President Vladimir Putin on trips inside the country and abroad, MBKh Media reported, referring to the information on public procurement website.

The service concluded two relevant contracts with the State Air Company 224 Air Force Squad OJSC. One contract is for 400 million rubles ($ 6,1), the second amounts to for 756 million rubles ($ 11,5 million).

Thus, these are the costs for transporting the FSO employees, property and vehicles in order to ensure the president’s off-road activities, as well as the visits of delegations from foreign countries.

In addition, the funds will be allocated to aircraft flights to the airports of the Moscow hub. Also, the contracts include costs of rental housing, meals, per diem for business trips to foreign countries and telephone communications.
