Officials of the transport agencies of Moscow may be invited to use taxi instead of company cars. This is reported by Vice-Mayor of Moscow on Transport and Development of Road Infrastructure Maksim Liksutov.
As Liksutov told RBC, the introduction of such measures is associated with the reduction in the cost of transport services for officials. Talks with taxi companies are already under way, the vice-mayor said. According to him, the use of taxi instead of official transport will reduce the cost of transportation services for employees by 20-30%.
To recall, in June 2017, the Ministry of Finance of Russia announced the introduction of similar measures. According to Deputy Minister Tatyana Nesterenko, the department had saved 11 million rubles ($191.8 thousand) using the services of Uber and Yandex.Taxi.
