Transbaikal prosecutor's office purchased apartment from district prosecutor for $48 million
The corresponding auction was posted on the public procurement website.
The prosecutor's office of Transbaikal bought an apartment in Chita from the prosecutor of Mogoytuysky district Yevgeny Lyukshin and his wife. The corresponding auction was posted on the site of public procurement, writes Taiga.info.
In late June, the prosecutor's office announced the purchase of a three-room apartment with an area of at least 54 square meters located not on the ground or last floor of a four-to-five-story building in the Central District of Chita. The procurement requirements also stated that the house “is desirable” to be located on Lenina Street.
The only supplier that submitted an application for the auction was Olga Lyukshina, spouse of the prosecutor of Mogoytuysky district. On July 9, the prosecutor's office inked a deal with her for 2.98 million rubles ($47.4 thousand).
Taiga.Info notes that the Lyukshins own an apartment meeting the terms of the contract in a house on Lenina Street, 53.
A specialist of the Material Support Department of the prosecutor's office of Transbaikal confirmed to the publication that the contract had already been concluded. Lyukshin himself refused to discuss the sale of his apartment, saying: "Well, why can't one buy?”
Earlier, the prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region purchased a three-room apartment from the former Chairperson of Cherepanovsky District Court. The parameters of his property also complied with the terms of the contract.
