“The palace that Lyosha has built for five years.” Deputy head of Presidential Administration Gromov owns property not corresponding his income
The cost of the official’s house on the Rublevka Highway can reach up to $ 13 million.
Deputy head of the Presidential Administration Alexey Gromov owns real estate, the cost of which far exceeds his income. Only one house on the Rublevka Highway could cost 850 million rubles ($ 13 million), online publication Proekt reports.
Gromov’s acquaintances told the journalists that next to the presidential residence in Novo-Ogaryovo, in the elite village Ilyinskiye dachi stands “the palace, which Lyosha has built for five years.” Its living area is 961 sq.m. When finishing the premises, as well as the garage, perhaps, Italian marble was used. Italian marble for columns was changed several times to achieve the desired effect, the online publication reports.
In Moscow, Gromov has an apartment of about 500 sq. m., which can cost up to 150 million rubles ($ 2,25 million). According to Proekt, the apartment occupies an entire floor at the Bolshoy Tishinsky Lane 10.
Another apartment is registered in the name of Alexey Alexeevich Gromov, an official and his eldest son. In the income declaration, the deputy head of the Presidential Administration, did not indicate this real estate item.
As the journalists found out, Gromov’s annual income never exceeded 10.5 million rubles ($ 158,000). For example, in 2009, according to the declaration, he earned about 4 million rubles ($ 60,000).
