An application for inclusion in the list of voters at the whereabouts can be submitted only to one electoral precinct and only in person upon presentation of the passport.

The State Duma adopted amendments to the law on presidential elections in Russia in the third reading. 381 deputies voted for the document, against - 36 deputies, one member abstained.

The adopted law provides for the postponement of voting in the presidential elections in 2018 on March 18 - the anniversary of the signing of the agreement on the entry of Crimea into Russia.

The deputies also approved the refusal of absentee ballots at regional and presidential elections. Now the one who does not live in the place of permanent registration may, in a period of 45 to 5 days before the election, come to any site and be assigned to him. It is supposed that this can be done through the portal of the State Service and the centers My Documents.

If the voter leaves his place of residence in the last five days before the election, he will be able to issue an application for attachment to another site on a special form with a protective stamp.
