Serdyukov nominated for United Aircraft Corporation board of directors
The decision on the former Minister of Defense's nomination has been adopted by Cabinet of Ministers.
The government has nominated Serdyukov as a member of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Board of Directors. The corresponding order has been posted on the government website.
Now the Federal Agency for State Property Management must ensure that Serdyukov's candidacy is included in the voting list for the Board of Directors and the Review Committee of the United Aircraft Corporation Public Joint Stock Company, the document says.
In addition to Serdyukov, the candidates for the Board of Directors include Head of Industry and Trade Ministry Denis Manturov, Deputy Transport Minister Valery Okulov, and Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov.
As previously reported by the CrimeRussia, the former Minister of Defense might have been appointed deputy head of Rostec. Moreover, according to several media outlets citing sources, Serdyukov could soon replace General Director of Rostec Sergey Chemezov in the Board of Directors of the United Aircraft Corporation.
