Russian Defense Ministry Deputy Head calls Metal Gear game project of US intelligence
The military man is sure that the US is trying to manipulate the minds of young people.
Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Andrey Kartapolov called the Japanese game Metal Gear and the Runet Echo project funded by the Soros Foundation the blueprint of US intelligence. According to the military, the United States launched a full-scale information war against the Russian Federation.
“The US intelligence projects, such as Graphic, Metal Gear, Runet Echo, are aimed at direct manipulation of public consciousness and young people,” said Kartapolov.
The creators of Runet Echo aim to accumulate the objective and complete information in the field of Internet communities, network security, cyberwar, and the role of the Internet in politics and society. The Open Society Institute funded by the Soros Foundation, which the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation recognized as an undesirable organization in 2015, upholds the project.
Konami under the leadership of game designer Hideo Kojima created the Metal Gear stealth action series. The action in parts of the game takes place in different periods - from the sixties of the 20th century to the near future. It addresses many issues, including the manipulation of consciousness, but there is no information about the cooperation of Konami with the United States.
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
