Russia ranks last in people's confidence in institutions rating
A third (34%) of respondents trust the government.
Russia ranked last in the rating of people's confidence in public and government institutions of various countries, MBH Media said referring to the American research company Edelman.
Only a quarter of respondents trust public organizations in the country (23%), and 34% of respondents trust domestic entrepreneurs. For comparison, in China, the figures are 74% and 80%, respectively, and in the UK 47% and 44%.
Russia also ranks last in media confidence with only 26% of residents fully trusting Russian media.
It is noteworthy that the only factor where Russia was not the last country was trust in the government, with a third (34%).
