Putin's bodyguard elected as Tula region Governor
Aleksey Dyumin, the Acting Governor of the Tula Region, won the regional election with 84.17% of supporters.
Dyumin, formerly the Deputy Minister of Defense, was appointed the Acting Governor in February 2016.
Before being appointed the Head of the Tula Region, Aleksey Dyumin had worked with the Federal Protective Service, keeping safe the President Vladimir Putin himself. Media also claimed Dyumin had been developing a plan to take former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to Russia.

Alyona Savchenko was convicted of brutally killing at least 15 animals and birds and sentenced to 4 years and 3 months in prison in August 2017. She married Yekaterinburg resident Artem Nechaev. They got married in prison where Savchenko is serving her sentence.
Clan members of the influential thief, who claims the ‘crown of the thief number 1’ of the entire post-Soviet space, are active in Ukraine, according to former press service head of the Security Service of Ukraine Stanislav Rechinsky on Facebook.
