Putin on thing he’s ashamed of

According to the president, he is ashamed of losing a note he was given by an elderly woman who knelt before him in the early 2000s.

Russian President Vladimir Putin told a story at the national phone-in when asked of which he is still ashamed, RBC said.

According to the president, he is ashamed of losing a note he was given by an elderly woman who knelt before him in the early 2000s.

“It was the end of the working day, dark, fall, I think. I was walking on this slush to my car. Suddenly I saw a woman of old age. She said something I didn’t hear and unexpectedly fell on her knees and gave me a note. I said that I would definitely look at it. I took it and gave to my assistants. And they lost it. I’ll never forget it,” said the president.

“I’m almost certain that I know now what was in it, having read dozens of such notes. It must have been something about helping her son who is in prison, this sort of thing,” Putin added.
