Putin increases number of cars with flashing lights

Former heads of Ingushetia are responsible for safety and combat training of flights.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on increasing vehicles with special signals for the Ministry of Defense from 20 to 22 units after former Head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov moved to the post of Deputy Minister of the Military Department. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.

Earlier, Yevkurov received the rank of lieutenant general and a post in the Ministry of Defense. Now he oversees the Main Directorate of Combat Training and Aviation Safety Service of the Armed Forces of Russia. The Directorate is under the control of the military administration for the training of junior specialists and the military-patriotic park of culture and recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Patriot.

Yevkurov headed Ingushetia since 2008. Yevkurov resigned after mass protests over the exchange of the border areas of the republic with Chechnya.
