Prime Minister Medvedev fires Federal Air Transport Agency deputy head
The General Prosecutor's Office requested that Oleg Klim was fired two years ago.
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the resignation of Oleg Klim from the post of deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia), which follows from a document published on the Government’s website. Klim was on duty for 11 years.
“To remove Oleg Olegovich Klim from the post of deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency at his request,” the order reads.
In 2017, after the air traffic crisis due to VIM-Avia’s debts, the Prosecutor General’s Office requested thу dismissal of Klim and his boss, Alexander Neradko, as Rosaviatsia often issues transport licenses to companies without proper verification. Certification and licensing control of airlines are carried out formally, according to the supervisory authority.
