Prigozhin’s company does not receive contract for Kremlin’s New Year Eve reception for the first time in five years
The contract was concluded with a mysterious company called MSK, registered at the mass address in May 2018.
For four years, the company Concord M, owned by businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, received contracts for a New Year’s Eve reception in the Kremlin, but this year the contract was concluded with certain MSK, registered at the mass address in May. Previously, the organization received three contracts for 36 million rubles ($ 522,000) from the Kremlin, RBC reports.
The New Year's Eve reception in the Kremlin took place on December 27 and cost the treasury 13.1 million rubles ($ 190,000). The MSK, founded by a certain Danila Aksyutin, was responsible for its organization. About 80 other legal entities are registered at the same address.
During its existence, MSK has received two contracts from the Department of Presidential Affairs and one from Federal State Budgetary Institution Combinat pitaniya Kremlevsky. The cost of the latter is the largest – about 20 million rubles ($ 290,000). The company serviced protocol receptions. On December 7, MSK serviced a ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of Fatherland’s Heroes, which took place in St. Andrew’s Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
Seventeen Russian Governors are facing criminal prosecution for bribe-taking. The rest of them may be jailed any time for exceedance of official powers. At least, Nezygar (@russica2) Telegram channel claims so citing an unidentified source in the law enforcement structures. However, according to that source, it is currently prohibited to prosecute top-level officials. In 2018, the operatives had only searched offices of Vice Governors or Deputy Ministers – not their bosses. The CrimeRussia found out what supreme functionaries are on the hook of the law enforcement authorities and may be immediately indicted if the President orders so.
