Peskov announced date of Putin's address to Federal Assembly
The President of Russia will hold the speech of such kind before the parliament for the 15th time.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will address to the Federal Assembly on February 20 in Moscow. The exact location is unknown. Journalists will be accredited from February 15 to February 17, RIA Novosti reports, referring to Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“Preparation is mainly carried out in terms of content work. But, as they say, related issues are also being resolved now,” Vesti.Finans quote Peskov as saying.
President Putin has already addressed to the parliament 14 times. Usually the event takes place in the Kremlin, but in 2018 it took place in the Manezh. In his message, the president presents the main strategic goals of the country's development.
Mass protest rallies have been taking place in Moscow on a regular basis since the beginning of this summer. People are protesting for lots of different reasons.
