Moscow Deputy Mayor explains 32-fold increase in earnings
Moscow Deputy Mayor said that he had sold the car and the apartment.
The Deputy Mayor of Moscow and head of the Moscow department of transport and development of road and transport infrastructure Maxim Liksutov commented on the 32-fold increase in its revenues in 2017.
According to the official, the ground for this increase in earnings was the sale of cars and apartments.
"These are the only indicators. Nothing special," Liksutov said in a conversation with RBC.
According to a declaration published in mid-April, the Deputy Mayor earned most of all - almost 220 million rubles ($3.4m), whereas in 2016, his income reached the figure of 6.8 million rubles. In the new declarartion, there are no Liksutov’s apartment in the area of 178.6 square meters, a Mercedes-Benz car, three motocycles and two car parking lots.
At the moment, the Vice-Mayor owns three land plots, a residential house with an area of 2 thousand square meters, two non-residential premises, cars Lexus and Mercedes-Benz and three motocycles. Two minor children of Liksutov are also indicated in the declaration. They have a flat of 106.8 square meters.
The press service of the transport department explained to RBC that the increase in the Vice-Mayor's income was due to the fact that he sold an apartment and a car.
Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin earned 6.531 million rubles ($103.150) last year. In 2016, his income amounted to 6.456 million rubles. The capital's Mayor has a garage of 26.8 square meters, and an apartment in 308 sq. m. in use.
