MIA in Moscow advises its employees against extortion using quotes from Bible, Koran, and Torah
The quotes from the sacred books of major religions are contained in the anti-corruption memo for police officers published on the Ministry’s official website.
In the anti-corruption memo for officers of the MIA Main Directorate in Moscow, posted on the official website of the Moscow Police Headquarters in the section ‘Methodological materials’, contains quotes from the Bible, the Koran, and the Torah that condemn corruption crimes.
The document explains in detail what corruption and a bribe is and gives an idea of the types of corruption crimes and the responsibility for their commission. In addition, the memo explains to employees how to deal with extortion or bribery, where to go, and what to do.
