Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin earns less
The capital city's mayor reported on his income for 2016. According to declarations, the head of the capital has earned less than most of his deputies.
Declarations on the income for 2016 of Sergey Sobyanin are published on portal of the mayor and the government of Moscow. According to documents, the income of the official has made 6,45 million rubles. Among properties of the city's mayor there are garage of 26 square meters, in use – apartment of more than 300 squares registered for many years already.
It is remarkable that deputies reported on their income before their chief. The income of most of them has exceeded the mayor's earnings. Thus, though income of the head of department of transport and development of road and transport infrastructure Maxim Liksutov were reduced by 10 times, he still earns more than Sobyanin, namely 6,8 million rubles.
Deputy mayor concerning housing and communal services and improvement Pyotr Biryukov is also richer than his chief with 6,88 million rubles and deputy concerning social development Leonid Pechatnikov who has earned 6,9 million rubles.
Head of department of the foreign economic and international relations Sergey Cheremin became the wealthiest official of the city hall in 2016 – his earnings by 14 times have exceeded the income of the mayor of the capital and have made 94,87 million rubles.
In early November 2017, Basmanny Court of Moscow has satisfied the motion brought by the Main Investigations Directorate in the City of Moscow of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (ICR) and remanded Aleksander Shukyurov, Director of the Capital Renovation Directorate State Budgetary Institution of Moscow, in custody.
