Khakassia comments on Rosneft spokesman’s words about their governor
The press service of the regional government gave no information whether head of the republic Valentin Konovalov is going to file lawsuit against the Rosneft’s press secretary.
The government of Khakassia commented on a statement by Rosneft’s press secretary Mikhail Leontyev, who called Head of the republic Valentin Konovalov a “moron” and likened him to a pig during a radio broadcast of Komsomolskaya Pravda, Taiga.info reports this.
“There is no sense to react to a person who considers his thoughts as the Manifestation of Christ. Let it remain on the conscience of the author of these statements,” a representative of the regional government press service said.
The regional government gave no information whether head of the republic Valentin Konovalov is going to file lawsuit against the Rosneft’s press secretary. "This is a private issue of these people," - the press service commented.
Earlier, speaking on the radio of Komsomolskaya Pravda, Leontyev insulted Konovalov and suggested that Russia could lose the republic.
Valentin Konovalov won more than 57% of the votes in the second round of the governor election. He was the only candidate in the list, since the other candidates withdrew from the election. The first one who refused to continue the fight was candidate from the United Russia Viktor Zimin after he failed the first round.
