JSFC Sistema called claim of Rosneft and Bashneft illegal

Joint Stock Financial Corporation (JSFC) Sistema received notice of the claim handed against it by Rosneft and Bashneft for 106,6 billion rubles. The corporation declared that they consider requirements of the claimants “illegal and unreasonable” and are ready to prove it in court.
“All actions specified in the claim were carried out within the law for development of business and growth of cost of Bashneft”, JSFC Sistema emphasized.
As earlier the CrimeRussia wrote, the claim of Rosneft and Bashneft was registered by court on May 2. As media learned, the oil companies, thus, count depreciation of Bashneft during that time when it was a part of JSFC Sistema. In particular, at 57,2 billion rubles loss of the stocks Sistemy-Invest also is estimated at 36,9 billion rubles - a debt of Bashneft, and also the claim included 12,5 billion rubles of the expenses incurred by the company on redemption of stocks of the company at minority shareholders.
As the interlocutor of Interfax said, Bashneft, being a part of JSFC Sistema, was illegally deprived of the stocks Sistemy-Invest and indirect holding of shares of several other key enterprises, including power assets.
